Why Cornhole?

This is the second year I've gone a bit crazy and decided to integrate *actual* event-planning into the course I teach -- Sports & Event Marketing. And, I'm gonna be honest. It's a bit like trying to herd cats.

That being said, it's also an opportunity for students to learn the entangled nature of sports management and marketing, and to say they have some hands-on experience putting on an event for others. Plus, both this year and last year, we do all this while raising money for an incredible local organization - Pascale's Pals.

This year, the class chose to host a cornhole tournament. Also known as bean-bag toss, cornhole, as we found out, even has a governing organization (the American Cornhole Association) that stipulates the rules and regulations of this incredible game.
